The Mirror That Does Not Reflect

The Mirror That Does Not Reflect

If you were not your thoughts, not your name, not your body, what remains? There is something behind the roles you play, the stories you repeat, the fears you carry. Something that neither rises nor falls with emotion. Something that does not begin and cannot end.

Close your eyes and feel the stillness behind your breath. Who is breathing? Who is watching?

The Ashtavakra Gita says: “You are not the body nor the mind, but the vast open sky of Awareness.” It does not say become that. It says you already are. Only the clouds of belief obscure the view.

We look outward, always outward. But truth waits inward, in a place beyond place. there is a mirror that does not reflect,

a silence that does not end, it sees without eyes, knows without thought, loves without an object,

it is the flame behind your longing, the hush behind your name, it does not judge, it does not change, it simply is, it simply "IS",

you wear a thousand faces, speak a thousand prayers, yet it remains, untouched, waiting for you to stop pretending,

not to become pure, but to realize you were never impure, not to arrive, but to remember you never left...!! Ask gently: if all that you identify with were to fall away, what would remain?

Not in theory. Not in thought. But in the raw light of your attention.

Let the question dissolve the questioner. Let silence answer you in a language older than sound.
